1 pack Doctor Turmeric Sesame Paste
4 Tbsp Doctor Turmeric Oolong Tea Seed Oil
65g Scallion, sliced
100g Enoki Mushrooms
½ tsp Super-Hot Chili Powder
½ tsp Seedless Korean Red Chili Powder
¼ tsp Black Pepper
1 Sweet Red Bell Pepper, seeded and sliced
130g Bean Sprouts
½ oz Tamari Soy Sauce
¼ oz Water
115g Seedless Cucumber, thinly sliced
1 bundle Doctor Turmeric Thick Ramen Noodle
Step by step, the ingredients and the noodles will be added to a medium-sized steel mixing bowl and combined before service.
To begin, add a packet of Doctor Turmeric Sesame Paste to the bowl.
In a sauté pan, add 2 Tbsp Oolong Tea Seed Oil. Sauté enoki mushrooms, scallions and black pepper on moderate heat for 1-2 minutes, being mindful not to burn or cook off the essential liquids that will make this mixed noodle dish delicious. Remove from heat and add the entirety of the pan to the mixing bowl, atop the sesame paste.
In the same pan, add 2 Tbsp of Oolong Tea Seed Oil and sauté the red bell pepper, bean sprouts and both chili powders on high heat for 1 minute. Add tamari soy and water to deglaze the pan. Remove from heat and add entirety of the pan to the mixing bowl.
Add thinly sliced cucumber to the mixing bowl.
Boil the noodles “al dente” and add to the mixing bowl directly from the boiling water with tongs. Add a dash of the starchy pasta water to the mixing bowl. Not too much. Maximum 2 oz. The heat of the wet noodles and the added pasta water will help to combine the sesame paste and to harmonize the flavors and textures of the other ingredients. Stir gently until ingredients and turmeric sesame sauce is evenly coating the noodles.
Serve with the Turmeric Chili Tea Seed Oil Condiment and/or hot oil pickled giardiniera vegetables.
