A Statement on COVID-19

Dear Friend of Rishi,

We are thinking about the health, safety and financial wellbeing of you and your loved ones during this time. We wanted to provide a quick update of how we are addressing the coronavirus at Rishi.

We remain open for business and, so long as it remains safe to do so, we are devoting more energy to fulfilling online orders than ever so you can continue to enjoy Rishi at home.

You can rest assured that our products are safe. We are reviewing FDA and CDC guidelines daily, and our Operations team continues to practice the necessary hygienic practices in accordance with our food manufacturing safety plan and Good Manufacturing Practices.

These are unprecedented times. While many of us are physically apart, we can still come together virtually and celebrate the community of tea. We’d love to see how you’re doing so please share your at-home tea practice with #TogetherInTea on Instagram. We hope you find some moments of mindfulness in tea these next few weeks.

We also have a small favor to ask. Rishi partners with so many local coffee shops, restaurants, specialty shops and health & wellness practitioners around the world. Those local businesses are facing immense challenges and lengthy closures. If you have the means, we kindly ask you to support your local businesses with the purchase of a gift card or an order for delivery or take out. Any amount can really help the community.
